What Affects the Price of a Savannah Cat?
Several factors can influence the price of an individual Savannah kitten:
- Generation: Earlier generations are closer to the Serval and often have different pricing from later generations.
- Placement type: Companion-pet pricing and breeding-rights pricing are different.
- The individual kitten: Appearance, color, markings and other individual qualities may influence pricing.
- Availability: Prices and options can change as kittens are reserved or new kittens are listed.
- Delivery or pickup: Transportation arrangements may create additional costs depending on the destination and selected method.
Generation can influence appearance, size and energy, but it does not determine every kitten’s personality. Read our Savannah cat generations guide to compare F1 through F6 Savannah cats.
Pet Price and Breeding Rights
A companion-pet price applies when a kitten is placed primarily as a family companion under the applicable agreement. Breeding rights are not automatically included in the pet price.
Breeding placements require approval and a separate agreement. The breeding price only applies when breeding rights are clearly offered for that kitten and the applicant is approved.
Costs to Consider Beyond the Kitten Price
The purchase price is only one part of responsible Savannah cat ownership. Families should also prepare for appropriate food, veterinary care, enrichment, secure carriers, litter supplies, climbing areas and other everyday needs. Delivery or pickup expenses may also apply.
Ownership requirements can vary by location. Buyers are responsible for confirming that Savannah cats and the selected generation are permitted where they live before completing a purchase.
How to Apply for a Savannah Kitten
Start by browsing our available Savannah kittens and selecting the kitten that best matches your preferences. Then review our adoption process and complete the Savannah Kitten Application.
We review each application before discussing placement, agreements, reservation payments and delivery or pickup arrangements. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval or reserve a kitten. A reservation is confirmed only after approval, completion of the required agreement and receipt of the agreed reservation payment.
